I got my iPod shuffle 3 days ago and it's hasn't worked since I have gotten it. I tried to restore it and it gave the error message "The iPod could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1418)." I tried to sync the iPod and it gave the error message "The iPod cannot be updated. An unknown error occured(-50)." and "The disk could not be read from or written to." I have also charged it fully and when I try to turn it on it turns green but then turns off after a few seconds. Please help! Thanks.

What is the operating system of the computer you are using with the iPod?
