I got a nextar MA933A MP3 Player for Christmas. It has 512mb of flash memory. It so far has 59 songs on it. I was wondering if flash memory is considered good.?.

"Good" is a relative term. Flash memory has no moving partys so it is far less likely to fail unless data becomes corrupted, but it's limited in terms of size. Flash drives seem to get bigger and bigger every few months at this point, but there's nothing readily available over a few GB or so just yet.
