I have seen on several sites that this player is supported on all versions of Windows with USB support. But, when connected to win98se or win me system that accesses several other players as a usb disk, it is seen as philips and wants drivers.

The cd included with the unit refuses to install on anything older than xp. Is there any place that I might find the necessary drivers to use this device?

I have found a couple of messages that say you hav eto go through media player 10 for all access to this device. Anybody have any experience?

Philips web site says must have xp sp1 and at lease media player 10. I can't believe that a company this large would limit its' customer base so drastically. There's go to be another way especially with the reviews on cnet and other sites saying it works with 98se and up.

Thaks for any help that anyone can give.

Steve
