hi i jus baught a new mp3 and its supposed to hold 160 songs but for some odd reason it wont hold no more than 50....it keep saying there isnt enough sapce what anm i doing wrong

mp3 players do not hold a set number of songs.

They have a set number of space.

The songs you have loaded on it are probably very big due to length or high bitrate. Most of the song estimations are 3min songs @128kbps which is really poor quality and very short.

Essentially, there is nothing wrong with your mp3 player.



...I hate how they advertise mp3 players by how many songs they can hold-it's a clear example of how easy it is to lie with statistics.

Exactly what Jexx said....I'm really into Progressive Metal & Rock and some of the groups I listen to have many songs approaching the 20 min. range...imagine how few of those will fit
