First off, I'm in India so going to the nearest Apple service center or whatnot is not an option.

I got my ipod in Jan. Its been working fine. But then, a couple weeks ago when I tried to update I got this message: The ipod cannot be updated. the disk could not be read from or written to.

My ipod shows up in the itunes window but not in My Computer. And when I try the ipod updater it tells me that it "can't mount ipod"

Apart from that there are no probs at all.

Help me!!!

Another question:

Can I move my itunes to another computer. I've been told I can use the CD only on one computer.
