Thread: Ipod Mini Won't Show Songs |

So i have an Ipod Mini. A few days ago when I plugged it in my computer to put new songs on it, the name of it had changed. It also said that i had used 170GB of memory and had 17GB left, which amazed me seeing as how its a 6GB mini.
ANYHOW, i transferred songs over to it, disconnected it, and went to play my new tunes when i realized NONE of them were on there.
I plugged it back in, and it showed up in ITunes with those songs on it, but whenever i disconnect, NONE of those songs are there.
I updated itunes, updated the ipod software, reset the ipod, restored the ipod, uninstalled both, reinstalled both... all to no avail.
Also I noticed that it no longer shows up in My Computer as another drive...
Anyone have ANY idea what i could do? There are no longer any songs on my mini, itunes seems to think that it adds them but whenever I unplug... nuthin'.
