I just got a Ipod Nano player and hooked it up to my computer and the screen reads "USB Connect" however it never seems to read "Ready" like in the manuel. Device Manager says device is working properly but when I tried to use Apple's update software it says to connect the Nano even though it was already connected. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

Check your ports or try using a different port on your computer.
