Hello. I have been going through these threads, but I have a problem that has not ben addressed.

My brother gave me his RCA Lyra RD2762, with the installation CD. I installed the Lyra application, and tried to run it, but it does not show in the system tray, although it shows as a process when I chech with alt+ctrl+del. Therefore, I cannot upgrade the firmware, which sucks because I get the File system corrupt message. I can get the icon to show by ending explorer.exe and starting it again. But when I right click, all the menu options are grayed out, and the icon disappears.

The player does not show in My Computer as a drive, and it will only play the USB sound if I hold the control stick on the player while plugging in the USB cable. WHat's more . . . it goes to the transfer screen, but 10 seconds later, it shows the safe to disconnect message, without any prompting fromn me.

Can someone please help me?

Thank you.

I'm having the exact same problem...it's hard to fix it when your computer wont even read it...
