I have an iPod video that I've had for at least three months. Aside from a little bit of stalling and running sort of short with battery time, it's just fine. Yesterday, I loaded a bunch of new songs on to iTunes, closed the window, and hooked up my iPod to the USB port. Now, normally all the songs load on to the iPod automatically with no trouble. But it was really strange...the USB port recognized it was plugged in, but iTunes didn't start loading anything. I left the iPod in overnight to see if it was just my computer being slow, but this morning it was still on that stupid "Do Not Disconnect" screen just like before. I checked under Preferences in iTunes, and it says the iPod isn't even connected! Does anybody have any idea of how to fix it? I'll be really grateful if someone does.  |
