I love this dvd player but am having great difficulty watching copied dvd's. Does anyone have the same problem?? Is it the unit or the dvd? It appears i can only watch store bought dvds. The copied ones, freeze up and says "please check disk" These copies do work on other dvd players i have

Toshiba SD-P2500 is extremely unforgiving on damaged or copied discs. My recommendation is to make sure the media you use is a good grade/quality disc and that you burn under low speed (2x or 4x). Also make sure you don't have anything running that can cause interrupted write (i.e., anti-virus). This is assuming you are doing the backup yourself.
