When I plug my Ipod mini into my computer, nothing happens. Like usually my ipod will show up on itunes so i can update my ipod and add songs to it, but it doesn't do that anymore. Its like the ipod isn't connecting with my computer. So i plugged my brothers ipod into my computer just to see if it would show up, and his did. So i'm guessin there is something wrong with my ipod... PLEASE HELP ME!!!

i plugged in my ipod mini and tryed to update it and a woring came up and it said that my ipod cannt be updated because all of the playlist selected for updateing no longer exist what can i do to update it i even tryed to earse allmy songs and then put them bac on again but that didnt work either please help me!!!!!!!!!!
