If anybody has unlock codes for portable DVD players, please post them here so they don't get strewn needlessly about the forum. I have a Panasonic DVD-LX95EBS that needs to be made region free. The only people that are helping me solve this are the researchers at DVDEXPLODER. Here is a link to their free page: www.dvdexploder.com/multihacks
These dudes unlock DVD players, recorders, PC DVD ROMS, portables and loads of other devices. Check them out, but post here if you can help me with my player! If you have a portable unlock problem then post here and I'll try to help you if I have the time. Thanks. |

I too wish to unlock a portable Mintek 1825. Have you tried the thoth-solutions.com ? I have entered my dvd player into their web site and await their repsonse.
I need to be able to play UK dvd's on a US player. |

My in-laws recently sent a portable DVD player to us in Istanbul from America. Unfortunately, the machine won't play Region 2 DVD's.
Can anyone please let me know if there is an unlock code for the...

Hi John I am also in Australia and have just unlocked the same model dvd player to wach dvds from the UK it was quite simple when i finnaly found out what to do, just open the the dvd tray turn the power on and then press the number 0 on your remote 7 times and a message should come up asking you to put the region number you want in, press 0 again then it should tell you to press pause to continue, it should now be reigon free.

Region Unlock Code for LG DP181 and LG DP170 ( i think this will work for all LG DP portable DVD series...try
open lid and Power on (make sure no disk inside). wait for loading disc icon displayed on screen, then Press 0 (zero) three times on your remote before No-Disc message appear on screen. Enter 0 to make it region free and confirm your selection by pressing the PAUSE button. |

* Insert code 9653 with the remote control. The regional code appears on the screen.
* Select the regional code: 0 = code-free; 1=USA, etc
* Press ENTER and then SETUP
