I wasn't sure if this subject should go under "portable dvd players" or "portable mp3 players" so I posted it under both in order to get optimal feedback.

I heard that portable dvd players can play mp3s, but does that mean that you can burn 3.5 gigs of mp3s on a dvd disk and simply play it in a dvd player?

Can these portable DVD players be hooked up to a car's sound system?

I'm looking for a portable DVD player only for the purpose of playing mp3s, so I dont need a monitor and it has to be really small (size of a portable CD player). Do those exist?

The only reason I'm interested in this is the capacity of mp3s that can be fit on a DVD (3.5 gigs?).

Any help would be appreciated.
