I have Pioneer HDJ-1000 headphones and apparently the cord on them has gone bad, I have already removed the old cord, but would prefer not to spend another twenty bucks for another one...

Neeevermind, I bought it directly from Pioneer. By the way, these headphones have terrible sound. A great deal of bass and volume, but clarity just isn't there. The Sennheiser HD280Pros are better.
