I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on the Polaroid 8" swivel screen portable dvd player. Are they worth the money? Any problems?

i just bought Polaroid Dvd player while installing it i accidently inserted video linein in dc power output insteadof videoin socket of second screen. due to which dvd player went off and now itz not working.kindly suggest me what damage has happened and how it can be repaired.
