The new HK receivers AVRx30 series have quad bass management feature.How important is this.
Do other receivers such as Marantz , NAD have this? I am trying to decide betw AVR430 or marantz sr5400 or NADt742

I like the NAD the best out of the group.
If you want bass, Panasonic sa-xr45 has a great bass thanks to digital amps and goes for only $300 on the web.

These 2 sound more musical and non-fatiguing.

Have them a listen. Bestbuy carries panny. You can track a NAD dealer in your area at their web sight.
