i dont have a manual or whatsoever. my problem is ..it has this blinking red "P" on the screen and renders all function inactive. what does this blinking p means? thanks

Check the speaker cables to make sure thay are not touching any where.

And are your speakers 4 ohm? Some receivers only tak 8 ohm.
