I'll be using Paradigm Studio 60 Ver.2 fronts, Studio CC center channel, B&W 601 S3 for the rear and back surrounds, Definitive Technology SuperCube I subwoofer.
Which receiver is better for music?, Home Theater?
Which one is more 'future proof'?
Thanks

IMO the Denon is definitely out for music and is marginal in Home Theater. Marantz is the definitely the better of the two.
I have owned the 4802 and did not like anything except the remote controller.
I am only expressing my opinion so Denon owners and lovers please do not take offense. I believe that subjective and everyone should audition as much equipment as possible then make their own decision. Other opinions should only be used as a starting point.
Also, I would not be overly concerned about a future proof receiver. I have not seen one.
Enjoy your search.
