KLH 200 Watt AM/FM Reciever 100x2 Watts @ 8 Ohms

Model: R-3100
2 (Car) 10" Sony Xplod 600 watt Subwoofers 4ohm

I crank up the Bass knob, and the volume, and the reciever will shut off for no reason when i recieve the volume is set around 30db-35db, if i take off all the bass, i can achieve around 35db-40db before it shuts off

Do i have get some type of conversion to convert the 8ohm (Reciever) to 4ohm (Speaker)? if so can someone help me with this, i am stuck.., i wouldnt know where to look for a OHM Converter at, i know 200watts is enough for 600watt subs, so im all confused why it is shutting off
