For those of you that have or have listened to VSA's LCR 15's, can you please give me your thoughts on the best budget minded 7.1 receiver to match with them. http://www.vonschweikert.com/surround_systems.html I am considering the Denon 2805, 2105, or the Marantz 5500. Any thoughts on these or others that are similarly priced? |

To me your receiver choices seem a little cheap compared to the speakers. The 2805 or 3805 could be ok if you like the sound, from Marantz the new 7500 or 8500 should be closer to the class you'll need. Of course NAD T763, T773, H/K AVR7300, Pioneer 56TXi, Rotel RSX-1056 are all safe choices. |

Thanks! Unfortunately I'm price constrained to around $700. Can I get your recommendations at anywhere close to that price? |

From here: http://www.soundpros.com/receivers.cfm You could get the Pioneer 52TX/54TX or H/K AVR430/630 which imo are best choices if you must stay around $700. |
