Hi! I think I have a problem with my Technics' tonearm. My turntable is an SL-D303, and it has cueing for lifting up the tonearm. But when I press the cueing button, the tonearm rises up correctly, but it moves a little from its position, losing the track on the surface of the record. After that, if I deactivate the cueing, the tonearm goes down correctly too, but it isn't as it was before I activated the cueing, because it starts playing in other part of the record that had already been played. Is it a problem or it was made to operate this way?. I think it needs an adjustment.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks.

unlucky mate, youre expecting a little too much from your deck. not a lot can be done. try doing it more gently or slowly, not lifting it all the way up. just cue it up manually. good luck
