I have Denon 3805 and Klipsch RF7, RC7, RS7, RSW15 surround sound system. I am wondering if I should spend a little more and trade in the Denon 3805 for the Pioneer Elite vsx-49txi. Will it sound better? More amps? Any thoughts? |

Flagship receiver vs upper middle...The pioneer should sound better if it doesn't, they should be in the business How much more $ are we talking about? |

The Elite will be a better match with Klipsch, and it will also have a lot more grunt so I would do the change right away. |

landroval is right. The Elite is a much better match and will help tame the Klipsch brightness. Denon and Klipsch is one of the brightest combos you could find and to my ears is just really shrill. I would consider buying the new Elite 59txi from dyanco.com. A co-worker got one from them for $2499 with a full 2 year warranty. Great receiver. |
