I already have a set of home theatre speakers, since my parents are getting new ones for their room, they offered to give them to me. Since these speakers are not meant for computers, is it possible to somehow hook them up to my computer aswell as my TV? What would I neeed and i talked to a couple salesmen and some told me I would lose sound quality if I hooked them up to my computer, and some said they will sound perfectly fine. Anyone know? P.S. Sorry if this is not in the right section, i don't know which one to post it in

Goto radioshack and explain what you want to do, and they got the cable for you. |

james is right they would have a cable but your computers sound card probably doesn't have enough power to drive them. you would need a reciever or amp to hook the speakers to then your computer to that. |
