Would like some friendly advice.

I currently have a Denon AVR2500, and am looking to upgrade. Mainly used for movies, x-box, sports and karoake parties.
My setup is:
Mitsubishi 55513 HDTV
Panasonic E80HS DVR
Paradigm center speaker and powered sub
Atlantic Tech surrounds
Fisher 15" front L & R speakers.

I've been reading some of the reviews, and am currently considering:
Denon AVR2803
Yamaha HTR5590
H/K 525 (ruled this out as no a-b speaker switch)
NAD 762 (based on reviews)
Onkyo 701.
Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Hi,

I just acquired the Yamaha RVX1400 and Parasound HCA1205A. It sounds very good. Yamaha has the parametric equalization mic which makes set up easy. If you just want a receiver than you may want to listen to the yamaha RXV2400, which is one model up.

You can also consider the Pioneer AX5i. This also has a very good auto microphone set up. Again, if you just want a receiver, you can get the next model up.

I have heard the 1400 and the Ax5i and found the Ax5i bright but it may be due to the set up in the dealer's room.

The Denon is also supposed to be quite good, but I have not heard it personally.

The Rotel combo 1098/1075 also has had good reviews. So check it out.
