DO ALL MD MACHINES SUPPORT LP2 AND LP4 MODES.IF NOT, HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER IT DOES OR NOT?

Almost all separates and most portables available play LP2 and LP4. Check out the manufacturers site for details on longplay. If it says longplay it will play both LP2 and LP4. Watch out because longplay is different to monoplay which plays longer, doubling the length of your disc.
