Hi all,

Does anyone know of a decent quality but small sized CD player. My problem is that I don't have the space for the "typically" sized CD player (usually it's around 17" x 15" x 4"). I recall seeing some nice players (somewhere?) that are about the size of a small shoebox. I know MBL and Audionote make some small players, but these are about 17K $. I'm looking for something more in the price range of about 200 up to 1000$ (preferably on the lower end of that range).

thanks,
rich

Musical Fidelity makes one I think, and Quad also, although may cost more than you want to spend - the quad.

Hi

You might have a look at the Cyrus CD6, I think it is around $800. Been a large award winner in Europe.

The Cyrus CD6x or CD8x are smaller that yer average bear. Both are allegedly fine sounding machines.

I have the same problem, no room for a big system, and not a very big budget. I was thinking about getting a Car Indash player and building a box for it, but I am not sure about how to go about installing it.
