Should you also use the RCA connections in combination with these connections? I have seen some manuals advising this!

Charles: please post what Kegger asks. I actually have my video inputs connected with every type possible... composite (rca), s-video, AND component (YPrPb) where available. My receiver is capable of scaling up the video to component, so that's nice.

Not all receiver can upscale say composite (rca) to s-video and certainly some can't do that with component either.

YMMV. Some assembly required. Void where prohibited by law. Discontinue use if rash appears; except in Nebraska.
