Hi, I just got this system for christmas. It doesn't produce anywhere near the bass I was hoping to hear. Is it possible to add a separate subwoofer. Also I would probably also need another amplifier.. as the sub I would buy probably would be too big for this system. Thanks for any help on what my options are.

You first might want to check if you can boost the bass by adjusting the equalizer or bass function.

It should have pretty good bass - with adjustment.

If you still want more, you can add this sony sub for less than $100 :

If you can return it, you can get panasonic sc-ak410 which has decent bass and sound (ebay).

had a jvc mxga77 a while but now the cd drawer will not stay shut when i press close it just re opens straight away so now i cant play a cd does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix it
