Please let me know the + and - points of Bose Acoustimass 6 II Speakers if you are using or had used them. I'm planning to buy one set and I need your reviews. What would be the best receiver to match this (other than Onkyo TRSX500)?

I have a set of Bose AM-10. To say the least, I am very disappointed. The bass, and mids are not there until I crank my Onkyo TX-DS797 almost half way. I got nothing on the sub-woofer end.

I just bought an AR PR-1212 powered sub to aurgment the Bose's short comings.

That is really poor performance for a $1000 set of equipement.

Unless you have a really small room (12' x 10') and are short on space, I would not recommend Bose.

There are no high points for anything Bose produces.
