I have a crappy subwoofer from dell (i believe altec lansing)...i have it on a carpet and for some reason, even if the speakers are tuned to the lowest possible # - 1/10), my neighbor freaks and complains that my bass is too loud...if i feel the sub, i don't feel any vibrations...i would have thought a carpet would muffle it...am i wrong or is she nuts?
