I have the option of purchasing a used B&W ASW CDM (single 12' @1000 watts) for about the same price as a new SVS PB2-ISD(dual 12's @ 650 watts). My room is 14w x 15d & I'm pairing it w/ a Denon 2805 and Paradigm ref 40's/cc570/adp 470's... Any thoughts?

SVS Is better......I have listened to both and prefer SVS. However, that is only one opinion.

The dual woofers work wonders. Be careful of the wattage factor as you have more than enough power from either one.

In my opinion (however much that counts!) SVS and HSU are the prime subs you can buy for the money.
