I am trying to set up my first hifi system and is looking for an amp currently. I have read good reviews on both the 2 amps and the price difference over here is less than 10%. Anyone could suggest which is better?

I have an old pair of Paradigm m5 v1 speakers which I got it cheaply recently. Which amp will be more siutable with these pairs of floorstanders?

The Nad, easily. It has great power reserves and will drive better than the Cambridge. Plus it sounds better too in my opinion.

Many audio-lovers like to buy used gears to get more quality - they are usually well taken care of.

If you go this rout, for a little more, you will get a real upgrade in quality with these.

Especially the last one is nice.

Your speakers deserve something better than the ones you were looking at - to get more out of them.

Thanks for your advise, Sun King.

Btw, have anybody heard of this pair of paradigm? My previous pair of speakers is JBL control, so the paradigm sound miles ahead of the JBL, but are they really a decent pair to keep for a some time?

Sorry James, missed your post.

You heard the paradigm before? cos currently I'am using my sony hifi system to drive them, although I can hear the clear difference from the JBL, but it sound really weak. Its not easy to find alot of the brands over here. What do you recommand from NAD, Cambridge, Rotel, HK..... those found on WhatHiFi are easily found here.

If you're looking at Cambridge, look at the Azur 640A instead of the A500.

Better.
