I bought one on Ebay for $24.95. They auction reconditioned / returned ones for cheap. I own a very cheap home theater system (Kawasaki AV1000) which is only 100W total (25W for the passive sub). I thought the bass was weak, and hooked up the Sharper Image woofer. I must say it sounds great, and feels quite powerful. The room really rumbles and shakes with the LFE sounds. I'm happy with it, but again, by system is pretty cheap.
