Does anyone know if you can connect an external equalizer (Onkyo) to a Pioneer VSX-D812K receiver? If so, how? Thanks |

I have a Pioneer VSX-D711 with an AudioSource EQ200 hooked up to it. The 812k should work if it has a tape monitor loop(there will be a button on the front that says 'monitor'). And plug the eq into the ac outlet on the rear of the receiver. I assume you know how to hook up the in/outputs. I recently took out my eq because I got tired of getting up to push the button in to change between cd or tuner on the eq. It seems to me they don't really make eq's for today's receivers. HTH |

Can someone explain to me how to add an EQ to my preamp NAD(C 162) in order to EQ the entire system not just the tape decks hooked up to the EQ. I also have two amps behind the NAD. Thanks. |

you do realize you can just plug something like your CD player into your EQ and then from the EQ's line out plug it into something like CD in on your receiver, right? |
