Hey all,
Looking for a receiver. I have always bought Sony electronics (wega tv, sony dvd,sony ps2,sony mini-hifi, sony clock, sony phone...get the drift?)
Problem is that I have heard that Sony service sucks, and while I have never needed it, I figure time to be wary, when you buy something like a receiver. Also I heard that Sony receivers tend to heat a lot, so I figured I'd try something else.
Currently I'm looking real hard at Kenwood (vr6060).
QUESTION TIME: What receivers would you AVOID?

Hey mike,
saw ur reply to my post. I have the kenwood reciever but i'm debating whether pioneer is better than this. the THD isn't concern for me because it only matters if you have High End speakers. I have found really good place to discuss this reciever issue. Check this out:

But the fact still remains: Noone knows how kenwood performs compared to the pioneer. |
