Hi all,
I am looking to purchase some speakers to go in a room - 14' wide x 15' long x 7' high. Im using a Denon AVR1804 to run them. Im not super concerned with tons of base but I would like very clear sound with an expansive soundstage. My buget is about $600.00 or less if possible.

I'd check out the Orb Audio speakers (www.orbaudio.com) or the Hsu Ventriloquist (www.hsuresearch.com). The Orbs have that clarity and soundstage that you are looking for. The sub is small, but powerful, too. The Hsu speakers are in the same price range, maybe a little less expensive. I like them, too, although they definitely sound a little like small satellites to me. But, they are in your price range and wayyyyy better than the Theater In A Box stuff you will also find in that range. |
