HAVE AN ONKYO SR800 THX.AND A 7.1 SPEAKERS SET UP ON MY BASEMENT 20X16 ;SOUNDS GOOD BUT I WANT MAKE IT SOUND BETTER.I AM THINKING ABOUT AN OUTLAW 7100 AS MY AMP AND CONFINE MY ONKYO AS PRE.$900 IS NOT AN ISSUE BUT SPEND THAT AND DON'T GET ANYTHING BACK DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE FOR ME.SHOULD I BUY IT ?WILL IT IMPROVE MY SISTEM?

SPEAKERS are the most important part of a system..
not the amp...try upgrading the front three
speakers and see what happens

well bruno you ask a tough question and i don't
think anyone could give you a definate awnser.

my personal feeling is yes it will sound beter
using a high quality external amp versus the amp
inside the reciever.

SOURCE is the most important part of a system. If it doesn't come ot of there it doesn't come out of the speakers....

You don't mention the source Bruno, and also don't forget about the displaye device. What are you using there? there are many ways to improve the system, not just in terms of sound.

You also don't mention what the speakers are. It would help us to know so we could see what kind of load they are presenting to the amp.
