I wrote nad about this issue and my here's how it went.................................

Hello, the c272 has the sense function and as you are probably aware in the
absolute sounds review it was mentioned that at lower levels the circuit
switched the unit to standby... While at one of your dealers and demoing the
c162-c272 the sense circuit also switched the unit to standby while the cd
was playing.... What is wrong with the circuit?..... By the way the c162 and
c272 sounded fabulous and the circuit gaff is not a dealbreaker, but it is
perplexing....

Hi Joseph,

We have heard of this complaint, and our technicians are working on a more
sensitive input circuit.

So if anyone has bought this amp and has this problem I would get it serviced as soon as nad find a more sensitive circuit....I knew there was a reason I didn't buy a model as soon as it is released...
