subject says it all. anyone have anything to say abt these (good or bad). am not able to listen to these. wanted to order a pair as my surround speakers. let me know. |

i would also be interested in hearing more about these. what would be a better investment, the r1 rears or a pair of b1 bookshelf speakers for the rear channels? |

I have the R-1's and they sound great and have a very cool built in bracket for mounting them. Just hold them were you want to mount and press, they will leave 2 small dents to show screw locations. I have them mounted behind and just wide of the seating area and about 8" for the ceiling. There are no brackets to buy or speaker stands (If you can hang them). {image\popjpeg{67954,Upload}} |

how do they compare to the b1s? should i get r1s or b1s for my surrounds? |

I struggled with this issue as well before going with the R1's. Why? Most of my usage is movies not music and the surround field is better with the R1's. It also helps that they look cooler! But I do love the B1's. |
