Hi, Please can somebody help me out? I have a Yamaha RX-V1050, (old, but still perfectly working). This amplifier has the possibility to connect 2 pair of speakers. on speaker connection "A" I already have a pair of speakers that work through an external active equalizer. I use these speakers when I'm in my music room. My question is: I have another two pair of speakers. On set has a 6 ohms impedance and the other set 8 ohms. I would like to try and hook up together to my speaker connection "B" (in guess it's called "in paralel"??) Is it possible to connect a 6 ohms speaker with a 8 ohm speaker? Would this damage the speakers or amp? Thank you guys |
