I have a 500 watt memphis amp with two premier DVC 2000 watt subs, i hooked it all up last night and when i turn my volume up and the bass start to hit hard the amp cuts in and out going into protect for about 3 seconds then cuts in and when bass is going to hit hard it does it again.
