I am useing an sony xm-504z 4 channel amp and have two 12'' sony x-plod subs.. in the instructions it says it can be used as an bridging amp but when I hook the speakers up it works great for a minute or two then the amp cuts out why cant i bridge it with out it cutting out ..?

oh yeah it's a 500 watt amp too I don't know what I'm doing wrong that it cuts out am i short curicting the speakers and if so how am i doing it ...

try the car audio section of this forum.

did you read the manual on how to bridge the amp and connect the speakers properly?
