This should be in HT section but htis thread is always more active. 3 tribe 3 in the front, 2 tribe 2 in the back, totem storm sub, Arcam AVR350 and Arcam P1000. What is the best connection. Bi amp all 5 using both (P1000 to lows and AVR350 to hights) or like Totem recomended - use P1000 for bi amping tibe 3's in the front and use AVR350 to single power surrounds (tribe2). Totem's logic was that P1000 has bit difrent gain then AVR350 and it will provide much more power and cleaner power for front and center tribe 3's than the other scenario. |

I would do the latter (what Totem recommends). I use a Bryston 3B to power my fronts, and a bridged 2B to drive my center. I use my AVR to power the rears since they don't really need a lot of ooomph. This arrangement works well when I use my HT rig to listen to music, since I'm using my 3B to power the music. |

No problem Pablo. Not say it's the right way to do it, but it has worked well for me. |
