I recently got a Stanton T52 turntable and when I hook it up to my yamaha receiver i get a far lower audio volume then with the other electronics hooked up to it. I do get some volume its just quite unless i turn it all the way up, and then its still not loud, just average volume. If anyone can help with this please let me know. Im not at all sure whats wrong so any ideas are appriecated. Thanks.

.

You need a separate phono pre amplifer to plug in between your turntable and your receiver. Go to the "phono" section of this forum and you'll find threads and ads that will lead you to the sellers of phono pre amps.
