With cables preferably. Don't you have an owner's manual for either one? Look in the manuals and decide which connection routing serves your purpose best and follow that.
For every system there's a few different ways to wire the cables depending on how you want the signal to flow from one piece to the next. Satrt with the most basic routing shown in your manuals and proceed from there. Think of each out as going to an in and each in coming from an out.
If you just can't make sense of it, you have several options.

2) Call your satellite provider.
3) Call a local audio shop and ask if they do house calls.
