I wish to revert to my old system which i had before before purchasing a Bose Lifestyle system 5 years ago of which i have never been happy.Previous system Arcam Ar7r amp( which i have obtained again) Heybrook HB 1 speakers.Unfortunately the Heybrooks have been discontinued but would be too large.Has anyone any idea what speakers to audition similair in sound to the heybrooks (but as small as possible).

Never heard of Heybrook speakers before. How would you describe the sound? Are you looking for speakers that are crisp and detailed or laid back and smooth?

Looking at the specs of HB1, pretty much any half-decent bookshelf speaker should be able to match it's performance. After that it's just a matter of preference.
