Hi I'm looking for some floorstanding speakers to hold me over until I get the funds for a "real" set...of speakers that is. I'm going for used and have a few I'm interested in, yet have no real speaker knowledge so help would be appreciated. It would be for home theater only, and I was leaning toward a pair of infinity kappa 8's a friend has. But I also have a friend who has a pair of B&W dm620's which I've never heard of or ever read about so I dont know. I'm leaning towards these only because I can get them for a steal. The infinitys are going to cost more but they are supposedly pretty good. I was also checking out some online but no knowledge = what were you thinking Any advice or maybe another model to consider would be great. Thanks

It is always best to match the fronts and center channel,MP.
What do you have for a center speaker now?
What kind of receiver do you have?
