Hey ecoust's..........,
my spdif female input (samsung htp-40) seems to be damaged. An issue from connectin' it up in the dark when changing to a new spdif. OK my fault. The area of damage seems to be the spidif door. It doesn't allow the male to 'snap\click into the female 100%. It's the little spring door that matches the males form. It's either rounded or not matching up. Ok w\out to much sarcasim has anyone ever had success workin' through a issue like this? It is small but i'm not really interested in buyin' a new receiver. The HDMI audio is very nice but doesn't deliver like spidif. (the output is from my PC (both HDMI and spdif available.) It wz working prior to the cable change. to the samsung's input.
suggestions?

So you can't insert the cable at all now, or the cable inserts but does not stay in?
