I have B&W683

I would like to buy an amplifire NAD c275/c165.

But I'm curious to know, if i buy 2xc275 which i could use in the bridge mode one amplifier for one speaker, will that make a

differenc in sound and clarity? Or perhaps that would be enough to have only one NAD c275? If enybody use or have tried one

amplifier for each Speaker what would yuo recommend??

v.ber, you are looking at bi-amping, and there are different ways to do that.
The benefits of bi-amping are best exploited with an active crossover, but lets keep it simple for the moment.
Yes, there is a benefit to be had, beyong just doubling power to the B&W's.

However...have you heard this combination?
Do you own the speakers now?
What is the room size?
What type of music do you like?
What are your sources?

I withhold further comment until you expand on your plans.

I am a big fan of mono amps, particularly when they are presented on the floor as placed pieces.
I am cautiously pessimistic about the pairing of the Bowers and Nad, however.
The 683's have a way of fattening up the bass regions, and the NAD sounds the same to me.
If you like the sound, then you will get more of it from an outlay in amplifiers.

Have you heard any other amps with the Bowers?
You say the speakers are a year old.

I went to see a local dealer to try new ROTEL amplifier. I like it very much and i thinkink of buying it now: RB-1552/RC-1550 and maybe RCD-1520. shame that they haven't got an amplifier RB-1582 or RB-1080 so that i couldn't try it. When i spoke to the sale person he recommended RB-1552 amplifier and said that amplifier would be enough for B&W683 speakers. Should i go for RB-1582? What would you recommend? will that make a differenc?

Rotel and NAD are very different (albeit the same price point, more or less). It's up to you to listen and decide.

I prefer the Rotel sound, but some speakers don't play so well with Rotel.

I definitely prefer the NAD sound personally.lol. Sorry David. The Rotel products have a huge bump in the treble. This is not only known by listening to the product but shows on most measurements with Rotel products. I think this is why its important to watch which speakers you match with Rotel. But same goes with NAD. I think too, that Rotel is going to be better with certain speakers than NAD. B & W IMO is one of them. If the Rotel gear was switched back and forth between NAD gear with B&W speakers my guess would be that 8 out of 10 times the Rotel gets chosen.

Rotel and B&W have played very well to my ears in the past.
I heard this setup in a non-display room, again, in Dallas with Mike W.
The sound caught my ear because it was familiar.
I would try it out, if I was gonna order in a kit like a pizza, here in 30 or free.

I like what they do together.

Didn't someone mention that Rotel and B&W are owned by the same parent company?

I had some very nice sounds coming from a NAD pre & power and a set of B&W 602S3's. I think NAD and B&W can be a decent match. I heard Rotel in the showroom and didn't impress. But that's just me.

B&W own Rotel stuff, since 2000. They recommended the Rotel with the older 6 series, but lacked something for the 8 series, so they bought Classe in 2003.

Is any of this helping v.ber?

I will also state that the 683 have fat bass. I auditioned them ON Rotel equipment and found the bass to be too thick, so I would stay far away from the NAD.

Open room placement is necessary, no matter the electrics.
