My Dual 505 turntable no longer operates as the tone arm-controlled switch is not working. I have rmoved the casing and tried activating the switch manually with the mains connected. I have since removed the entire circuit board from the unit. Does the entire unit need replacing or should I have an electronics shop check where the problem lies? The unit serial number is:
Dual SE 2 9U 249 033 -2 UL 94/V1. As I live in France would you have a suggestion of how I might go about getting the unit fixed? Thanks JC}

Go shopping for another table or fix the dual.
